So let's see what Herr Haptic Erni has wrapped in a tiny package
(see scissors for relative size)
The Haptic Werewolf greets us, and carefully the wrappings must be cut...art-of-the-wrappings:
Inside:
Aha! An Inspiration Box!
Whose Inspiration Box...why not for Herr Haptic Erni?
Oh, Erni, for ANDY WARHOL! Yay!...it has arrived !
And it is not simply a little staue of the famous man, but the "throne" is a stand,
and within the stand...a very important boekie! What wonderful revelations in this boekie!
Words of Wisdom from Andy:
Oh, there is much more....will have to post later perhaps!
What inspiration! And Andy likes "thinking" about Erni's art too!
And he will join blue mouse and friend to tell his impressions on mail art....like these bar codes!
Marvelous treasure! Thank you muchly, dear Erni!
Must read and mediate more....and post more tomorrow...

Oh, too bad, eh? Maybe you should leave your calling card and try to educate them.
Pretty funny of them. Maybe they should try mail art.
Katerina, I might try that, if they won't explode a tire. Maybe I should put one on the railroad tracks (one block away) and see what a train does to it. Could be interesting, eh?
Too funny that the city of Hamburg apparently puts up those crates on poles? Maybe a vandal played a good joke, is what I thought at first. But the truth is better!
Things are soooo organized in Germany! A bottle deposit crate, right there on the pole! Amazing!
Nancy, hon, you can always put the Greek cans on the driveway and do a "road kill" with your car :-)
Smash 'em flat flat!
Cans-in-the-mail this morning...lets see how long the "metal designs and card" take to arrive. Post office clerk gave me no problem, although one envelope may rip in the delivery...hope not.
Yo! And by the way, how do you think they got that plastic box around the middle of the pole?? And aren't you up very early? It's almost time for me to sleep.
Good ones again, Erni. The ice cream guy's facial expression is something else! It's tempting to explore Portland more, because that post can't be the only one (even though I've never seen one that good in 23 years).
Kat, I'll be thrilled to have some Greek cans, absolutely. In general, I'm picturing using vehicle-flattened cans for space reasons and because the lines of them are so beautiful, but there's no way I'd turn down some non-flat ones from Greece, no sir/ma'am. Thank you!
oops...spell chick is gone for the holidays...that is to say"
maybe Greek weekender fishermen THROW the cans overboard! :-)
How humbling this is ... very lucky indeed. That beautiful rusted grill piece is actually being used on my art table, Erni--it fits nicely on a bin and turns it into a double-level place to keep stuff. So it is very close to me most days. I've been meaning to show you something we ran into in Portland last Thursday while taking the Red Bag to a concert. It was thrilling! :
