One of the joys of snail/mail art: it comes...slowly...but it is a BOOK.

The book arrived from the Karuizawa New Art Museum, Nagano,Japan.

Remember the project, anyone? It was in 2016!

A bit difficult to "find" your mail art,

but a very amazing exhibition.

And the documentation is a 200+ page book,

a few details:

Ryosuke was there:

and so was the ART COW:

...fascinating to see after all this time :-)

'Did a deep search into old photos and found the mail art card  sent to Karuizawa in 2016:

Brown "etched" painted paper with ink drawn "reeds", must have been "Muddy Spring" :-)

It is not a catalogue with each artist's name and work, but it is an interesting book for MailArt with articles and commentary (some in English, some in Japanese) about mail art, artistamps, Brain Cell, etc.

It is on sale, if one googles the museum perhaps there is a link?

This exhibition looks fantastic--2 yrs ago, who cares--thank you very much for blogging this, Kat, and for posting photos. I didn't know about it in 2016 but sure am glad to know about it now.
