DISNEY FILM STUDIOS HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH ME ABOUT THE REMAKING OF 101 DALMATIONS!

Bonjour,

Disney Studios are considering making a new version of '101 Dalmations'. ("What's wrong with the old version?" asks Snooky).

They have approached ME because they have heard of my 1001+ Post Card Exhibition -- "L'Art de la Carte Postale/Post Card Art".

(And they saw the fantastic "Do Not Open!" video that Jinny Pearce made which I wrote. Hi, Jinny! You get a plug too)

I'm waiting for Walt and his friends to come back to me.

In the meantime, about a couple of weeks ago I called out "HELP! Please send me some postcards for my Exhibition, because I'm trying to get to 1000 postcards."

The following people did indeed HELP! and I would like to say a big Thank You/Bedankt/Merci Beaucoup to one and all:

* Theo Nelson

* Carina Grunland

* Nico van Hoorn

* Dimitra Papatheodorou

* Guroga (OK _Guroga)

* Extra Terrible

* Mom Kat

* Marina Serbon

* Dorian Ribas Marinho

* Clemente Padin

* Nancy bell Scott

* Judy Staroscik

* Vizma Downunder

* Jiri Subri

* Emily Coles

* Emily Townsend

* Borderline Grafix

* Mim Golub Scalin

* Ian Dengler

* Connie Rose

* Katerina

* Reanna Day

* Bifidus Jones

* Christina Morren

* Angie & Snooky

* Judith Skolnick

* Drama Queen (no, I don't know either)

* Claudia McGill

* Kevin Roddy

I'm on track to get 1000 Post Cards thanks to YOU. (If, as many as you did, send me more than one postcard, you only get, alas, one Mercy Buckets)

I'm now worried about the 1001st Post Card and the '+' that Walt's people are insisting on. That means that I probably still need more Post Cards (hint!)

Bon weekend to one and all.

Val

Glad you're free that nigh, Nancyt.

It will be a very special one.

More info follows later (unless I peg out before then!)

I think the stars of 101 are the Siamese cats...but then I'm a cat person.

Here's is my Siamese cat. He's is called Trouble, because he is trouble:

Yes, June 31 2017 is blank in my appointment book. Let me know where to be. By the way, I loved the 101 dalmations movie! and I mean the original.

Nancy, bonjour!

Moi -- desperate?!

Not that desperae but ALL post cards are welcome. They can be as minimalist as you like. I'm sure that they will be interesting.

Sorry about the Disney/Dalmation confusion, but I wanted some sort of different headline/title for the blog. It was either dalmations or a 1001 nights (are you free on June 31st 2017?), and I went with dalmations.

Bon weekend, Val

The 101 Dalmations and Walt thing is confusing, you'll be glad to know. But on to the main issue: Are minimalist cards welcome? If so, just how minimal? Like, do they have to show or say anything? How desperate are you?

(and ye be awaitin' a looong time to hear from Walt!)
