Alicia sent a fine little boekie, actually, 7 x 8 cm only.

Made up of several "pages" that are paint samples.

It is a wonderful voyage through color and texture.

The collage art matches the color's name:

Sage...a leaf of sage:

Pine Needle...pine needles from the yard:

Violet Evening...is her name :-)

Meadow...and a tracker:

Toasted Coconut...monkey likes!

Light Copper...and light metal:

Travertine....stone pebble:

Winter Oak....becomes Summer Sun!

Pine Needle...again :-)

Cafe Cream....coffee, please!

This is really a treasure, Alicia! Thank you so very much xxx

('Love the art-on-the-envelope, too)

It's a lovely boekie, Alicia...and the sage leaf and the pine needles did not disintegrate in the mailing! xxx

Here are photos that show the color tones a bit better.

But, I must admit, I so love holding the samples in my hands :-)

Unfortunately, the subtle color changes do not show up on this blog, but they are an elegant feast for the eyes! Very clever idea to make color paint samples into an art boekie! 'Love it , Alicia xxx
