Further explanation: you'll easily recognize the Senator's portrait, don't you? It's the one from above the strairs down into his basement shop. It had been meant back then a special attraction for the Gallery Café "Senator Watrin" that had opened in the end of 2002. I Think there'd been postcards of that painting in circulation for a while, and I'd used one of them for this collage.

The title refers to Frau Traudel Junge (born 1920), who worked as one of the dictator's female secretaries from December 1942 until the end in the Berlin bunker. After Hitler's suicide she managed getting away from the Russian Red Army to Bavaria in the last second. She wrote an interesting memoir called "Until the Last Hour".
