Here are a few of the great pieces of mail art I received this month (so far). I'm way behind in acknowledging these kind creative folks -- so, a "blog jam" -- great name for it!

Top left, Banana mail from Intransferivel in Brazil!  Top right, Jessica from Norwich, UK send these amazingly sparkly and cheerful flowers/circles. She also drew a really sweet envelope. Bottom Right, Briana Learnihan made this Circles within Circles card which came nekkid unscathed. You can't tell from the photo but the textures and colors on this are very nice--there's a kind of beehive effect going on. The big postcard in the middle on the bottom is from Lynne Gurnee. She sends this thought on the back of her card: "I just sent a postcard to Enrique Pastor in Spain who's scattering parts of his book around cities and thought of a writer who published 600 small books and "lost" them around the city of New York. I love that idea. I guess mail art is similar in that one send art off freely out into the world." Yes. Exactly.

Last is an amazing card from Debra Mulnick she sent me just because I said I loved it! She says it was made by master papermaker Tom Bennick. I think it's just gorgeous and you should feel the textures in it!

Thanks everyone.
