Pick-up-sticks?

A few of my "summer sticks" tape art have been said to resemble french fries...

and also : "pick-up-sticks". So, dear Nancy was kind enough to send:

PICK UP STICKS in the mail! What a great surprise!!! Thank you, girl!

No ordinary, Made-in-China plastic sticks are these...oh, no, here are

genuine wood sticks with painted tips! ...and from New Jersey, USA, of course!

Gotta just 'love 'em!

Also enclosed

in this fun "Go Trashpo" ..."Rust never sleeps" envelope:

was some sumptuous art as only Nancy can create:

postcard size, front and back, and with such  highly artistic compositions,

that viewing can be done in all directions...just FABulous! xxx Many thanks, Nancy!

Je suis bien d'acord. Et je suis deja morte plusieurs centaines de fois.

si l'on doit mourir, je préfère mourir de rire... but I'll spare you the [Greg]-gorey details...

Do you also call it mikado? Those are great, and I agree, the photos are very arty, love it!!

(Thom, who's Gregorgory? :-)))) mort de rire...)

brings back good memories! and this looks to be a heavier more frenetic style for Nancy than I'm used to seeing--really love it!

Super awesome--the art AND the sticks! The stamps on the envelope make me immediately think of this tongue-twister:

"If Gregorgory Peck could pick a peck of pick-up sticks, How many pecks of pick-up sticks could Gregory Peck pick-up?"

What a nice blog, Katerina! And you arrange the pick-up sticks so artfully--as I figured you would. :--} X
