Hey people.. how can I create more depth and dimension in my artwork? Right now my things seem to be sort of minimalist which is ok too but now I want to add more dimension. Anybody have any ideas how to do that? I appreciate the pieces here that have different dimensions and perspectives.???thanks for any hints, cheryl h.

Hi Cheryl! My suggestions are -- i) experiment, ii) do something completely different (style or size or technique or material or media or colour or anything you choose really), iii) be bold, iv) don't worry if it doesn't quite work out, and then v) then move on to something else. That's the sort of 'strategy' I've been following for the last few months. I've experimented with lots of different things, and everytime I found that i'd found 'my artistic thing/definitive style' I rapidly discoverd something else. so I moved through Stamp Art to Envelope Art to Collages to Arti Slides (yet to be relased on the world) and yesterday afternoon i spent a few hours making some cards that are definitely Fluxist, even though i once swore to myself that i'd never get drawn in too deeply into that movement.
I think the experimental element is important. Try different things. see if you like them. See if other people like them (it doesn't matter if they don't). And take it from there;
Hope this is of some help.
Regards, Hilton
