Please, send me audio 1 minute...

Mail Art is a box full of surprises!

Pedro Bericat sent me an unusual piece... without an envelope, wrapped in a transparent adhesive... (I still don't know if I should try to release its contents from the inside or not...)

More surprising was his request for me to send him an audio! Okay, but it's not my usual language and what to send…

Claire Humphrys, our Odyssey

Since last September we have talked about swapping correspondence, but at that time sending to Australia was not allowed. The only explanation I received at the post office was that since the pandemic the services had not been regularized.

In the meantime Claire sent me this lovely collage, with a warm personal note. A beautiful stamp is also printed on her envelope! Thank you Claire! <3…

Brazil is such a big country that sometimes even small distances are huge...

Therefore, it is very nice to receive a piece from someone who lives in a region so far away from where I live.

From Juraj Jonke, many drawings

With a fine and accurate line, Juraj makes his drawings.
I didn't realize it at the time, but when I was organizing them to photograph I noticed that there was a sequence in his narrative.
Thanks, Juraj.

From Horst Tress, an Steampunk style

Horst sent a self-portrait wearing glasses, in the best steampunk style.

Always good to remember to make time for art.

Thanks for that!

From Jan van de Pol, with love

I received another handmade envelope. I'm really enjoying this new possibility of creating my own envelopes with magazine pages. They are charming!

Inside, a lot of kisses and a serious recommendation:

What I liked the most was the artist stamp with the photo of Jan and his partner (so I suppose). …

From Monster a GoGo, with a incredible sense of humor

It seems I got a great deal this time... I managed to resurface in the world of the living, someone who said he was retired...

When I saw his correspondence here on the blog, I thought this B-horror movie aesthetic on his envelopes was fantastic, so it was natural to want to get in touch with the author...
