I think I discovered a long time ago that Guido's titles rarely have anything to do with his drawings. I always thought that this was a great idea and use a similar system sometimes myself.
One way is to open up a book and use the title of a chapter. Lately I used "The black spot" from Treasure Island. Yes one of those books I chopped up. It was a nice hard cover illustrated one as well.
Sometime I wish I could draw like Guido.…

OH Dear, I'm not sure how Tofu is going to like my next series. While I'm busy tearing apart very nice old hard back books to use in mail art, Tofu is making some lovely little pieces of art to hide inside books. Will our worlds ever meet?
A great idea, and I hope it works. Still Mail Art Friends? Next on my chopping block is "The Quotable Churchill". Going…

The envelope alone was great enough, but the icing on the cake was inside.
Hand painted self portrait. Who could ask for anything more? But my guess it that this is not a self portrait. Maybe just another one of those blanks.…

Straight from ERNINESS king himself. Never before has something like this been turned into mail art. But what could it be?
The Art Hammer hit the nail right on the head.
Ready to "go" moist toilet paper…

Erni sent me this very interesting banana holder. I just couldn't wait to try it. With a carrot of course.
And it worked. I turned a carrot into a zucchini or courgette, it might even be a Cucumber. I'm not sure, but it's green none-the-less.…

I'm not sure if Willemien intended this to be mail art or not. In any case it got my attention and I went to see the expo for myself this morning. Only it didn't open until noon so I had to waste some time on the Champs Elysées people watching. Don't listen to what people say, it's a great city!
Mail Art or not, I think this is Willemien's way of saying,…

Susan is now very keen to put her own titles on her Mail Art. She knows that if she doesn't, I'll come up with some an absurd name for it.
This time she nearly covered all of her bases, but still it could be seen as Dean squared, but that would go beyond any ones imagination. So this one is called Dean 2 although I can still spell it wrong.
I…

Whacky Whacky Whacky, and it made me laugh. The eyes really make it work and loved envelope security pattern wings. What is ever going to happen when N° 365 comes around?
Thank you Sue

Very funny Arti Stamps from The Blessed Father. Actually very serious work when you look closely. And yes, I probably would invest in this restaurant although it might make Angie & Snooky a bit nervous.
The detail, too funny for words.…

Snappy tells me that this was received in Canada, but something was missing. Yes, in France we have lots of jokes about English food. I never thought there was any truth to them until now.
Next time, I'll be ready.
So Snappy, what…

This metal, yes metal, dust pan arrived today. However the handle was missing and the main message was covered up. Ah but I know who it came from. None other than the Hairy Wear Wolf, or something like that. I'll have to look it up.
And here it is in all of its glory. From the Haptic Werewolf himself. (I knew…

Nancy has out done herself this time. It seems that these Boekie's are "a la mode" now. What a treat. 18 pages of fun and joy. Sorry I only showing a bit of a mix. I'll try to add on later.
Is this what Haydn looked like? They all kind a look the same. Great painting on paper.…

Another hand painted piece from Carina. Well the sunset or pollution part is hand painted. The rest is a photograph from the 1960's. I know because my Mom use to have that same orange dress.
But wait, there is more. It arrived in this treasure map envelope. It looks like the treasure is buried on one of the Arcas Cays island. I can't wait to find it.…
