Why I am involved in Mail-Art:: I am extremely interested in working in the multiple, and striving distance my self from the attachment of the object and focus on proliferation of the idea, as well as being intrigued through reading interviews with people like John Held Jr, and buZ blurr, as well reading about the reasonings behind ray Johnson’s work really drives me to try and tap into any social network I can, outside of the digital space, this just happened to be one of my first steps.
I mainly make work through print making and painting, but as of the last couple months zine making and working my printing practice into so sort of mailable form has been my main focus. I love to frequently make little X-book style zines, so I would be super open to trading zines as well if that’s something your interested in.
