Artisticamente una partitura mail art -2014

Fu Guido d’Arezzo (991 – 1050) che mise a punto il sistema di notazione musicale che introduceva il principio moderno del rigo. Il rigo usato da Guido prevedeva solo quattro linee ed era perciò detto tetragramma. L’ invenzione del pentagramma invece è attribuita ad Ugolino da Orvieto. Il suo nome deriva dal greco, penta, cinque, e gramma, linea. Il pentagramma è l’insieme delle 5 linee orizzontali parallele e dei 4 spazi fra l’una e l’altra su cui si scrivono i segni di nota e di pausa ed è in uso a partire dal ‘500. All’inizio del pentagramma si usa mettere una chiave, la quale, stabilendo la posizione di una nota determinata, fissa la posizione di tutte le altre. Più righi musicali possono essere abbracciati da un’unica partitura. Il criterio della partitura incominciò ad imporsi dalla metà del ‘500 con lo sviluppo della musica orchestrale; la partitura quindi è la rappresentazione grafica di una musica a più parti vocali e strumentali simultanee.
