Thanks Gina, thanks Linda. I think you're both along the right lines. Yesterday was definitely a deep ruby red Merlot-coloured day --5th row down, 7 from the left --that had, of course, to be enjoyed with a big mug of Merlot vin chaud/gluwein/hot wine (with ginger, slice of lemon, pinch of green tea, nutmeg and a shot of whiskey).

(I don't know why this is in bold all of a sudden)

Except during spring and summer, my mother always used to say "Spring is just around the corner!" --Linda

Of course, here too. Stock up on Burgundy and wait till the spring.

Toooo cold to go outside right now to check. 5 degrees Fahrenheit or -15 degrees Celsius.  : )  --LInda

I think so Linda, does it match the colour in your glass when you stand outside ;)

If "the middle"is the color immediately above the 'g' in Range (just below middle of the paper), that could be a robust burgundy. Does that mean I could be slightly close?  --Linda

A late response to this one Val, but according to Pantone for 2015 it will be Marsala, a robust Burgundy and spring colours are inspired by En Plein Air... if only they'd consulted with you before and saved themselves all those bored board meetings!

The one in the middle.  --Linda
