thank you i going to do some thing to you and send it .
Thank you M Nidham, see you in the mail!
love the idea
Thanks for all the kind words! You are all such great inspiration :) I must admit I am a hamster current artists' materials, but what do you do with everything. Making art is not helped by all the stuff ... long live trash, the simplicity and all the rest! I have no possibility to be more funnier and sharper than Dean, noo chance! Alicia, looking forward to see your mail in my letterbox and Diane I hope to get together a mail art for you this weekend..!
Yes, and in Greece as well. I think these calendars are still given to the children there. And also a cake with a coin hidden inside. Whoever gets the piece of cake with the coin gets a gift. This idea always intrigued me. Not the american way of celebrating for sure.
AND, great piece Carina. Almost finished with something for you.
Thank you Diane, I just had a look at Carina's website, and yes the word "dive" came into my mind as well. Just as I had suspected, this young lady is a pro, and with degrees to back it up. What talent. I'm no match for her, but I'll try to come up with something really funny. Now what could be something funny to Finnish people except for Sweden sinking into the sea?! Surely bar codes are out of the question! I'll work on something. Bravo again Carina, very happy to have you with Mail Art in your spare time when you are not busy being a pro.
Have you guys seem Carina's art space? I just want to dive into all her wonderful supplies. As a trashpo artist, my supplies are significantly less glamorous. Mine just looks like garbage to everyone but me:)
Well Bravo, this looks very nice and pro. I'll think about mine again, the only way I could come close to this is to find some really funny photos, or ... I just got an idea. thanks
Thanks Dean for your comments! I did this "calender", it also reminds me about those advent calenders. Joyful memory. I liked shutters with the round shapes most! Dean, next week should some skiing mail art arrive to France from Finland...
Yes, this is great, they are like French advent calendars. The expensive ones you get a chocolat inside and the cheap ones you get a picture. Funny enough, I kept the one from this year and thought to do something simular, but it won't be as good as this one, so I think I'll give it a miss. Who made this one?
