vizma, I wish I had a house with an attic.
I live in a small apartment. (very crowded!) :(

I wish I could see kangaroos from my studio!

Dear holics,

I’ll show you three of my notebooks before I go to the gym.

I bought two on the left and middle in Singapore and the right one is what I got from my brother-in-law.
(Ciak notebook handmade in Italy)
Ciak is gorgeous, too.

stupid scrapbook.com told me that it can't send to me and that I need to "fix my address"!!???

Comment by vizma bruns on March 3, 2014 at 3:00am

ohhh, I get it. I just looked at the website and the stickers are called Crowded Attic!! Ha ha ha! I thought you had a crowded attic!!! :-P

I think I'd have a fabulous time in your attic!! Wow! The numbers page 3rd down is lovely, and all the letters too. Pity there wasn't a 574 sticker for you to put on my mail!!! I think if I found an ephemera tin like that I'd keel over!

I love Cavallini stickers, too.

I have two packages.
I love Cavallini's tin cases! ♡♡♡

When I found it at the bookstore for the first time, I talked to myself “What the hell is this gorgeous tin case?”.

Here are Tim Holtz stickers. (Crowded Attic that I have)
I bought it 3 years ago but I completely forgot to use it. :(

Thanks for your English lessons, Claire, vizma! :)

I'll pay lesson fee with washis. (one yard per one sentence) haha!

We had a good time having delicious cake and coffee yesterday.

I wish I could have some cake & coffee with you girls talking about wahis and "Tim" (he's handsome as well). haha!

I'll post the pictures of the stickers in detail later, vizma.

Why doesn't that surprise me, that you already have them? Can you tell me how they work, are they one whole sheet, or separate letters, those printing/stamp ones?

Comment by vizma bruns on March 1, 2014 at 4:05am

Ha ha! If I'd checked 5 mins ago I could have saved my brain from doing too much thinking, Claire!!!

Comment by vizma bruns on March 1, 2014 at 4:02am

Good idea, Kim, maybe I'd better try them before I buy ALL OF THEM!!! Thanks for your kind offer!

If you're talking to the friend you'd say, "I'll bring you a cake." If you're telling us about it, you'd say, "I'm visiting a friend and taking her a cake." I think that's the easiest way to explain, without writing long paragraphs!!! We understand you anyway!! Enjoy the cake! ;-P

I've got those tickers, vizma! haha!

Have yummy fun Kim! %_^

Comment by Claire (aka Cleo) on March 1, 2014 at 3:58am

Kim - both Take and Bring work fine in this sentence and mean the same thing really. %_^ But, for it to really sound correct, you would say "...taking delicious cake with me," or "...bringing delicious cake with me."

I ordered Tim Holtz tissue tape on scrapbook (USA).

(I love "Tim", too!!!)

http://www.scrapbook.com.

They ship worldwide.
I think the shipping charges are reasonable, cheaper then Amazon and eBay.

I ordered something including Tim Holtz 4 days ago there.

But, if you want some samples before you buy all the rolls, I'll send you them.

Tissue tape is quite different from washi tape.

I'm going to visit my friend bringing delicious cake! :)
Have a good weekend!

P.S. Dear sweet & kind girls,

I have a question about English.

I'm sometimes confused "take" and "bring".

Which sentence does make sense?

---> I'm going to visit my friend bringing delicious cake!

or ---> I'm going to visit my friend taking delicious cake!
Please let me know.

Thanks in advance! :)

Oooohh, look at the gorgeous vintage stickers they have. Uh oh, I'm in trouble now...

Comment by vizma bruns on March 1, 2014 at 3:38am

Ahh, yes, it's coming back to me now!!

Thanks Claire, must be all the cocaine in the washi...I'm losing my mind!!! Ha ha! ;-O

Comment by Claire (aka Cleo) on March 1, 2014 at 3:32am

Viz - re Holtz tape - did you read this old post?:

"hey Viz! The vintage and tickets are a Tim Holtz tissue tape. Gorgeouse tapes, but they're nothing like washi. It's very thin, they rip easily, and do not stick well; but... They come in pairs, that one's called "Journeyman."

http://store.scrapbook.com/ch-th92912.html

If you can't find and want some, let me know and I will order a set for you next time I order."

Ha, ha, I just looked back a few pages, and I missed the cocaine comment somehow, Kim!! That's hilarious, it would certainly explain a lot!!! ;-)
