Hello! New around here and I received a comment on a blog post I did referring to the mail art "TrashPo" and recycled treasures-all from renowned prolific and definitely 'treasurable' artist Richard Canard of Carbondale...all of which I sincerely DO treasure (and thanx for the comment!)...almost as much as I treasure being a total word geek! So I ask the IUOMA ether: what is it? I would much appreciate a bit of guidance here! Thanks, Hilary.

Trashpo is trash as poetry?  Diane Keys aka DKULT was a proponent with numerous others here at iuoma.

Now what is Add & Past ? I loved your response to my question what is TrashPo a while back, it was fun to read and it helped me out too...I must admit I am too new here to understand all the references and terms you used in it-but I love that kind of thing and I'll get there I gobble stuff like that up for breakfast! Thank you for the links. I make mail art about mail art. Power point poster flyer format and postcards too. Are you interested in an exchange? I could pick your brain all day just asking about things like "the Order of the Tangerine Mink" and FAKE DK and I know Ray but the Great Landfill? No clue...Anyway no rush. Thanks for responding and enlightening me. This too proves to be a wide world...Hilary K.

The Trashpoets have taken a vow of silence since the appearance of the FAKE DK (which was foretold). It is possible to gain status as a Fake Trashpoet by completing training with an Official Legend of Trashpo or someone who has been named to the Order of the Tangerine Mink - but good luck finding them.

But I must warn that the trail is long & treacherous to walk with Ray in the Great Landfill. Trash poetics & DKult are exceedingly difficult.

You might want to explore Add & Pass.

Yes, TrashPo is poetic trash, found, recycled, often discarded cardboard food packing,

sometimes known as "cereal-ism" that falls into the TrashPo category,

and there is also SandPo and ChocoPo...

anything and everything goes in mail art :-)

The poetry of the discarded. Unusual works by the Philadelphia Wireman-an unidentified artist.

Trashpo and DKULT propaganda by Diane Keys!

:) <3

This is one of my most prized possessions! I share it with you free of charge: AN INK IMPRESSION OF DIANE KEYS' FOOT!!!

PLACE YOUR HAND AGAINST THE SCREEN!

PLACE YOUR FINGERS OVER DK'S TOES!

PRESS YOUR PALM AGAINST THE BOTTOM OF DK's FOOT

CLOSE YOUR EYES & FEEL THE COSMIC TRUTH OF TRASHPO!

YOU ARE HEELED!    YOU ARE HEELED!!

BRAVO!!! And thanks for sharing.

HAhaha! :D

This one was funny.

TRASsssART---

Amuldo of the Netherlands blogged trassshart that she received from 2014-2018. There are many gems contained in her files. She exhibited what she received on paper bags.

Trashpo and DKult are fringe stuff. I was elected Count of the portuguese DKult headquarters after signing a faustian contract, sent by Diane Keys. Now I'm a damned trash poet. What a TRASHedy!
