Event Description

Originally created by Larned Justin.

Unfortunately - Larned has decided to stop his participation in the project:

"The Tag U R It project has been a huge sucsess, however it is time for me to move on to other projects. I am going to end my portion of the project. If anyone else would like to take it over, that would be great! Thanks to all who sent tags! And to those, mostly international, that I was unable to get back to, I am sorry. Hopefully someone will continue the project."

I will be taking over this project & continue on with "Tag your it!" with a few slight changes...

Tag your it was hugely popular & i suspect that it will cost a fortune to send out tags all the time...

Therefore - tags will be sent in a postcrossing fashion.

When one is received - the next requester will be sent tags..and a post will be made here.

My tags will be round.

Sometimes my tags are a little racy - if you are not cool with that - please note that in your post

Simply list your mailing address in the comments below.

I will send you a tag with my art work on it, and a blank tag. Apply your artwork to the blank tag and return it to me.

tags get posted to flickr

Thanks!

Then ...

someone i "welcome wagon'ed"  tried to chat with me in the main room thing here....

i didn't even notice for a minute.....
i just kept hearing "ping......ping...."

" Oh man, someone is trying to chat with me....."

"Hello"
hi i been trying to ask a question about (mailart blah blah blah)
"One moment while i research that...."
hello? is this a real person?
"i am researching your request...please standby...."
"your account has been verified - (member name) - a peice of mailart should arrive in your mailbox......"

Wholly crap - is this for real ?

"hold on please ..Yes - it is indeed for real"

I mailed something -
it was a poison label

She sent me mail back & it said :
I never seen an automatic poison label dispenser and i am still not entirely sure you are real....

That was my daughter's hair. Or was it Snooky's? No, it was my daughter's. That was a fun collaboration. Send me more.

Me too. I've seen you around and been meaning to ... but ah, life interferes with fun. Watch your box for ... something.

Hello! I was talking to Automated Poison Label Dispenser. He/she nudged me this way. I'd love to get some tags your way. I like rabbits so maybe a rabbit tag or some kind of Irish animal. Unfortunately all the wolves and bears have long gone. I like your ghetto mobile sounds wonderful! So some sort of trade is in order - though secretly I've been trying to get some post out to you though struggling to finish a stack of mail art in time for the Xmas postal deadline. But never fear something will reach you soon!
