Following the success of our 'Hotel Drawings' exhibition which featured artists from over 20 countries, we are delighted to launch Origami Open! and exhibition of mailed folded objects.

Coinciding with our high-profile exhibitions by Grayson Perry and Jason Wilsher-Mills, we want to fill the gallery with folded paper wonders – a celebration of Origami as an artform! We're seeking origami artists, paper folders and enthusiasts, artists, designers, creative practitioners and anyone excited about creating artworks and objects from folded paper, are invited to submit works for a new exhibition at 20-21 this summer.

Never tried origami? We'd also like to encourage artists who've never worked in the medium before to take part - we aim to include all work we recieve!

There is no age restriction and artists can be based in the UK and internationally.

We want the widest possible variety of origami objects. We are able to accept anything of any size, shape or subject matter – as long as it can be considered ‘Origami’ in its broadest sense.

All work should be mailed to

Dominic Mason, 20-21 Visual Arts Centre, Church Square, Scunthorpe DN15 6TB (United Kingdom)

Deadline:11 June 2018

The exhibition is free to take part in and we aim to include all work that is submitted and return all objects to the artists via post after the exhibition has finished, so you should bear this in mind when sending objects

Exhibition dates: 16 June to 29 September 2018
Deadline for submissions: 11 June 2018
