Categories / media - drawing, painting, watercolor, print making, mixed media, original photograph.

Mailed postcards have an advantage being postmarked they record the time and place where created.

Note: pastel, collage and embellishments do not travel well and may cause postal machinery damage/breakage.

Here are e some color added to the beetle print shown earlier.Top one is "Ribbon Dance" and the second is "Fire Dancer"

Thanks to Susan Gnaedinger for likung the Beetle postcard I Sent. (See her comment and beetle image 4 comments below. That beetle was smaller originally designed for doing a set of ATCs.This is a larger version of the beetle linocut designed for a new postcard set.

Look at this collage composition by Steve O Black...

Not only fantastic subtleties, also remained intact through postal handling as an open postcard.

Steve--if you happen to see this post, what sort of adhesive do you use?
