The UK has now left the EU - just a bit of negotiating left to do over the next several months or so.

Last year, when Brexit was supposed to happen, I made some mail art packages that I sent out. Included were instructions so that the recipient could have their own Brexit or Regrexit, or even a third option.

Alan T (via Mail Art Matha, I believe) returned this to me:

If you have any Brexit-related mail art, feel free to add it in the comments.
(In all seriousness, as disappointed as I am about Brexit, I really hope that it works out well for everyone in the end. At the very least things can move forward instead of being in a weird state of uncertain limbo.)
Update: I forgot to add this fab Bresh*t trashbook from Mail Art Martha

While some are happy, giddy, have gone bonkers . . . Your choice:

@Momkat - haha, you are correct! I agree, they'll be fine, still a bit of a sad moment for many. And I love the collage, cracking up at the 'rosbifs' :)

@Mary Anne - love it, while we deal with Big Trumpton. Your comment made me remember watching Trumpton (and Camberwick Green) as a kid.

@Richard Baudet - it seems so with many aspects of politics. At least we still have mail art!

Ah, yes, Brexit...

Actually, 'tis always been "separated" land-wise from Europe:

(Thanks for this, Philip)

Remember when there was talk of Grexit?

And the EU was in an uproar as too how Greece would survive? So, no Grexit.

After all, we had only one other country to support us, in trade and other stuff: Cyprus

(and that still since 1974 being only half-an-island, divided as it is).

Whereas the UK has fine commerce and markets in :

Australia,

New Zealand,

South Africa,

Canada,

India

The Bahamas...

to name a few :-)

They will survive nicely.
