thanks for the kind words res. yes, i believe those are lychee on the stamp. a typical 5 NT stamp in comparison to the commemorative stamp of the cathedral. the printed matter stamp is one i bought. it was originally self-inking but has run out of ink so i've just been using it with my ink pads. that's why you can see the extra rectangle around the main stamped image. the envelope is just one i bought in the stationery shop. i usually buy different sizes so i can choose which fits what i'm sending the  most closely.

i did do a few envelopes like that to various people and then stopped for some reason. i have too much tape so the envelopes are often a way for me to use up some of those rolls.
