I have tried to send an answer to your question (mail art animal) but cant find your site on my infernal machine and I guess I am too late. never mind . . .
Well done Jayne; a worthy addition to the project.
I find it interesting to see that, within the project, there is a good selection of hand made and computer made; single stamps and large sheets, old Yoko and the young. If it had all been planned, from the start, as a type of sample or showcase as to what artistamps are all about, it couldn't have been better.
There is a good chance now that the documentation will be done earlier than I thought; maybe before Xmas instead of after. When it is all done and dusted I will post it here on IUOMA. Maybe it will stir up some enthusiasm and encourage a few more small projects.
An atistamp project is not the easiest because stamp makers work in editions and large multiples and so are not much interested in doing one off, themed designs that are maybe outside of their usual interest. but I think the effort has been well worth the making.
Hi Jayne, I mailed a card to De Villo Sloan a while ago and left him a comment this morning to ask if he has received it. This is his reply:
"idk - send a written query to Jayne Lions. Very important: Mark "Attention Dw/" Indicate to Jayne to contact me on FB (after 11 pm ETS please). Instruct Jane to send you a card."
Jayne Wow your mail art package revived my spirits so much this morning -- took a C- day and shot it up to at least a B+. I love all the little bits and pieces. Especially the soda bottle with the poppy stamp! I am half way through my healing, according to the docs. Mail art speeds it up! Thank you!
Thank you for the lovely postcard collage, Jayne! I posted a photo on my blog.

No worries. I am an exceptionally disorganized mailer as I often forget to log what I've sent and decide better safe than sorry and send people two things.... but then again sometimes am sure I sent when I didn't. I believe I sent something to you a few days ago but mail is sooooooo slow between Canada and the US these days. It is odd that things get to European cities faster.
