LOST MAIL ART

This is a place where you can blog your mail art which went missing.  It will give us an idea of:

1) How many Mail Art pieces go missing

2) Types of Mail Art pieces which go missing

3) Which countries were involved

It will also be a way for the "would be recipient" and the rest of us to see what you sent.

Awards & competitions to be announced at a later date!

This went out last month but I seem to have got the address wrong so I guess it is lost . . . sorry Jack!

This is not 'lost' but might have been;  I used an out of date address so if it had made it to the postbox it would have just slipped beneath the waves of the great eternal network ocean . . .

Just discovered this group courtesy of res' post. How sad! Perhaps a lot of it has drifted off and up into the aether...

Hands Free sent to PATRICIA LANDON in USA on 13 January 2016.

It never arrived.  Poor handling I guess.

Better luck next time.

Once upon a time, I sent a copy of Richard Baudet's "Green Tube" to Yuri,

in the hope that he can trace it through the US Post...

but seems to be no luck so far.

Yuri did send a very nice "thank you"...

Oh No! that is a beauty, Richard...framed green tube of paint!

However, it looks like your wonderful calligraphy was not read

by the US Postal machines perhaps? "Elizabeth" is too lovely

for a digital machine to understand... sigh.

However, we can take action!

I am going to write the Postal Recovery Center in Atlanta , Georgia,

and send in a "PS Form 1510"...along with a scan of this mail art.

If they don't find it, perhaps the "NIXIES" in Salt Lake City, Utah will.

Those NIXIES are super heroes of the US Post Office!

After 2 months, they returned "lost" mail back to me :
