Hi!Did you see that the new £1 coin (12-sided, like the old thruppenny bit)  will have Machin's bust of Lizzy on it?

Hi Su! Your woven card has arrived and it looks brilliant! Not a mark on it! I've just posted it in the Photos, both sides. Now you'll have to give me your address, my woven stamp is attached to a card and it's ready to go!!

OK, I'll try to send it naked, that would be the best experiment. If it screws up, I can always send another one to you wrapped up safely in an envie!!

Man, I would almost put money on it that I saw your work there!!! (if I had any to spare!) Well, it must have been an impostor!

Now, about the woolly postage, do you want it sewn on the outside somehow, or in an envelope? What was the experiment again?? Sorry...I've forgotten!!

Thanks Su!! I'm looking forward to this experiment! I spun some wool from the sheep on my farm to make you a stamp, looks a bit tight around the middle, so I don't know whether to start again or make do with the original...I'll play a bit on the weekend and see if I can make the original stamp look acceptable, and I'll get back to you with the results!

Did you have work at the SA mail art show? I think I saw your name there...I blogged it here at IUOMA-

Yes, I sent it to myself!  I didn't go into a Post Office so nobody could tell me that it was against regulations; I just added a postage stamp & posted into a postbox.  Definitely not registered or recorded delivery!  I wove directly onto a piece of card, so the reverse is plain and flat; that is where I added the address & stamp.  This blog post might make it clearer: http://tanglecrafts.wordpress.com/2013/09/14/spot-the-difference/.  The weaving that looks like an envelope was only posted today, but I'm hoping it will arrive home on Monday or Tuesday...

Yes, that's right - 1 x handwoven postcard + 0 x envelope = successful experiment! :)
