Kalimera and Guten Morgen Katerina!
Thanks for your compliments my friend. Yes, to find the balance it’s a problem in everything. I have the tendency to want more and more but I will learn. Have a nice day - see you in mail. Wolfgang.

Hi Katerina!
Yes I’m back again with a new E-Mail Address. I couldn’t verify the old once, now I have to check both. Yesterday after sitting nearly 16 hours for my computer I was really stressed, frustrated and unhappy. But I’m working also on my Blog, hope you like it.
Greetings from Germany! Have a good night - see you tomorrow, Wolfgang.

Guten Morgen and Kalimera
Dear Katerina!
This photo was made at the North Sea two years ago when I had holidays. Today the weather in Germany is grey and rainy and I will definitely make no photos today. But I know this special German weather for a long time and it’s ok. Only when it never changes for longer time then I get a little bit depress.
I didn’t find a translation from “Die letzte Schlacht” but it means the last battle we will win. It’s about controlling Internet and manipulates people. The Band sings that that will be impossible we will always escape and that we win at last.
Thanks for mailing - Wolfgang.

Hi Katerina!
Guten Morgen. It isn’t easy to explain my thoughts about both photos of the day, but I’ll try. Yesterday we had a bright sunny day and I made a trip with my bicycle along a canal, 15 km in one direction. I made many photos and I will show them little by little.
We also voted yesterday for our new parliament. The black and the yellow party have win, which means the conservatives. Which mean also the poor get poorer and the rich get richer, I thing. So my photo of this day A+B is my comment and a silent protest against this situation.
What more can I do - that’s democracy. Thanks for mailing.
:-) Wolfgang.

Elder Street Gallery calls for entries for a postcard art show to be held during the month of October, 2009. All work will be exhibited. No jury and no returns.

Create the postcard on an existing 4"x6" post card or a 5” X 9” post card or start from scratch on a blank 4" x 6" or 5” X 9” piece of card stock. The art does not have to be done on an "official" post card, just something of similar weight and size. Please include on the back of your postcard - Your name, full mailing address, title of artwork, medium and email address, (website if you have one) .The artwork on the postcard can be either horizontal or vertical. All artwork can be mailed as a postcard or sent inside an envelope.

Materials will vary, depending on the technique you choose. You may create the art with any technique, and all media are acceptable, including collage, markers, crayons, pen and ink, colored pencils, rubber stamps, tempera, acrylic, watercolor and printmaking. The only consideration is that the artwork cannot have a raised surface. Please no nudity, racist, or pornographic art.

All work will be on display at Elder Street Gallery, in October. A reception will be held on Saturday, October 16, 5:00 to 10:00. This reception is free and open to the public.

Mail postcards to Elder Street Gallery, 1101 Elder Street, Suite 109, Houston, Tx 77007.
Postcards must be postmarked by Oct 3, 2009. Questions and/or a copy of prospectus call Terrence at 281-250-4889 or e-mail elderstreetgallery@gmail.com

Postcards become property of Elder Street Gallery and will be for sale, with the proceeds benefiting the English Speaking Union Houston Branch - Shakespeare Competition.

Dear Katerina I really try to smile and laugh but very often I get the Blues. That belongs definitive to my life.

Did you ever feel the pain
That he felt upon the cross
Did you ever feel the knife
Tearing flesh thats oh so soft

Did you ever touch the night
Did you ever count the cost
Do you hide away the fear
Put down paradise as lost

Yeah youre blinded by rainbows
Watching the wind blow
Blinded by rainbows
Do you dream at night
Do you sleep at night
I doubt it

Did you ever feel the blast
As the semtex bomb goes off
Do you ever hear the screams
As the limbs are all torn off
Did you ever kiss the child
Who just saw his father shot
Do you ever shed a tear
As the war drags on and on

Do you ever touch the night
Or is it just another job
Do you feel the final hours
Put down paradise as lost

Yeah youre blinded by rainbows
And faces in windows
Blinded by rainbows
Do you dream at night
Do you sleep at night
I doubt it

Do you ever fear the night
Could it be the war is lost
Do you fear the final hour
Do you kneel before the cross

Youre blinded by rainbows
And watching the wind blow
Blinded by rainbows
Do you dream at night
Do you scream at night
Do you smell of fear
Is your conscience clear
Are you caked in sweat

Are your clothes all wet
Do you see the light
Is the end in sight
See the face of christ
Enter paradise
I doubt it

Blinded by rainbows from the Rolling Stones.

Blue Light (Mazzy Star):

There's a blue light in my best friend's room
There's a blue light in his eyes
There's a blue light, yeah
I want to see it, shine

There's a ship that sails by my window
There's a ship that sails on by
There's a world under it
I think I see it, sailing away

I think it's sailing
Miles crashing me by
Crashing me by
Crashing me by

There's a world outside my doorstep
Flames over everyone's heart
Don't you see them shining
I want to hear them, beating for me

I think I hear them
Waves crashing me by
Crashing me by
Crashing me by

Hope my mail wasn’t to early or to long - Wolfgang.

I dig that photo you sent-- I walk past there every night at midnight.
Yes, bien sur, those are bullshit buildings. I even gave a poetry reading in the Greco-roman one on the right with fellow poet and friend Nanos Valaoritis. They have a collection of my books etc. too. So it's really BS.
I would point out that I did not create the "Bullshit Acropolis" mail art. St Lucy did. It will be joined by others filling out the concept.
peace and love,
RAY man

Today I think you are Katerina, The Great. Majestic, too. I hope we smile together right now! After that I have many ordinary things to do, like cooking, eating, cleaning and later sleeping. C.u. tomorrow - Wolfgang.
