A tribute for the city of Portogruaro through a project involving art through mail. The keywords chosen as the theme are the motif of its foundation, joined in a common flow.

Limit
border between earth and water,
the river harbor and the trade routes,
the channels and the gardens of the palaces,
a constant reference to a change in system, material and colour.

Exchange
not only of goods but also of colours and scents,
artistic and architectural influences,
mutual knowledge, therefore culture.

Sign
a condition of consent expressed in gesture, the conclusion of an agreement,
a trace superimposed on many others:
whose meaning is beyond the sum of the parts.

Collective book of mail art.


Send 18 works of size 14.8 X 21 cm (A5 vertical), numbered and signed,
for making up a series of volumes with different artists in each. Each
volume will contain a minimum of 14 artworks, one per artist. Modify
each copy in order to make them unique originals. All techniques:
printings, drawings, paintings, photographs, collages...

Each participant will receive a volume.

Deadline: october, 2010.

Hola Hans Braumüller... Bien empiezo por adjuntarte el cuestionario sobre Arte Correo Latinoamericano... Necesito la mayor colaboración posible en las respuestas... acerca de tu importante actividad y labor como Mail Artista Latinoamericano… AUMA, tus exposiciones, etc…

Respecto al posible trabajo para Septiembre… Con tu esposa y artista Claudia Liekam a realizar conjunto a tu exposición.. Claro que me interesa... Ando haciendo Video-Performances... y quizás les pueda interesar mi trabajo para el evento y la programación que ustedes estén planeando…

Field Study invites you to take part in its fifteenth report

Send 100 copies of a documentation of a performance, instruction, manifesto, journey work, etc which you have conceived as a Field Study action and accordingly signed:

‘Field Study Emanation by… + artist’s name’

Copies have to be flat and landscape format. Size (A5) 21cm x 14.8cms. Please leave 2cms on the left hand side for the binding. All emanations will be bound and a copy of the report sent to all participants.

En los meses de Junio-Julio del presente año se llevará a cabo el 6to Festival Mundial de Poesía 2009 en el que será homenajeado el poeta venezolano Juan Calzadilla (Premio Nacional de Artes Plásticas 1996).
Este evento será auspiciado por el Ministerio del Poder Popular para la Cultura y la Casa Nacional de las Letras Andrés Bello.
En el marco de este prestigioso festival nuestro archivo realizará el:

5to ENCUENTRO INTERNACIONAL DE POESÍA VISUAL

CONVOCATORIA ABIERTA - NO SELECCIÓN - NO JURADO.
Se expondrá todo lo recibido – Documentación a todos.
NO DEVOLUCIÓN.

Las obras o expresiones deberán enviarse perfectamente embaladas para prevenir deterioros en su traslado y movimiento, con una copia de la ficha técnica pegada en el dorso de la misma.

CATEGORÍAS:

DIBUJO, PINTURA, GRÁFICA, FOTOGRAFÍA, SELLOS DE ARTISTA, COPY-ART, ARTE EXPERIMENTAL, CONTRAPUBLICIDAD.

OBJETOS / LIBROS DE ARTISTA:
Las medidas podrán ser hasta un máximo de A4. Los objetos y libros de artista que requieran de una base o pedestal deberá ser provista por participante.

POESÍA, VERSO LIBRE O RIMADO, PROSA, NARRATIVA, ENSAYO, RELATOS.

POESÍA VISUAL:

Poesía Proceso, la Poesía Ilustrada, los Poemas Laberintos, Holopoemas, Letrismos, Poesía Concreta, Poesía Semiótica, Polipoesía, Palíndromos, Collage, Fotoacciones, Videoacciones, Espacios de Resonancia, Poemas Objeto, Poesía Fonética, Poesía Sonora, Poesía Pseudovisual, Poesía en Braille.

VIDEO, CORTO METRAJE, DOCUMENTAL, ANIMACIÓN:

Serán admitidos todos los videos, corto-metrajes, fotografías, documentales, animaciones que no rebasen los 8 minutos de proyección y sean entregados en un CD ó DVD listos para su presentación.

EXPRESIÓN MULTIMEDIA:

Será admitida en CD ó DVD lista para su presentación incluyendo la ficha técnica y la lista de las fuentes sonoras, las fotografías, la música utilizada y el nombre de su autor.

FORMATO DE AUDIO:
El formato de audio admitido será:

Wave 44,100 Hz 16 bit Stereo.
Mp3 desde 96 hasta 320 KPSS.
Si la expresión es sonora, cuide la fidelidad de su grabación.

Hola mi viejo amigo y artista Hans Braumüller... Primero que todo mis más sinceros agradecimientos por tu magnífico envío... para el proyecto Postdata... el rollo y el sobre con tu pintura, tus catálogos, postales, estampillas... e información sobre tu trayectoria que tuvieron un lugar destacado en el proyecto que finalizó en noviembre 21de 2008...
En estos momentos trabajo en un Blog y una Página Web (lentamente... pero juiciosamente)... que incluirá el reporte de la exposición y otros datos de Mail Art & Poesía Visual...
También en la documentación sobre la exposición en formato digital.. que paralelamente voy realizo al lado de mi trabajo docente que recién comenzó hace dos semanas...

Hans para la investigación que realizo sobre -El arte por correo en América Latina una mirada desde la cibercultura-... quiero que me autorices a enviarte un cuestionario para que me ayudes a contestarlo que formará parte de este proyecto...

Escribo como corresponsal para la revista Escáner Cultural en Chile dirigida por Isabel Aranda YTO... puedes visualizar un adelanto del primer artículo sobre el texto curatorial de Postdata en el actual número y adicionalmente puedes ver mi trabajo para celebrar los diez años de Escáner Cultural dirigiéndote al link sobre el evento... participé con video-performance-instalación... que incrusté en VIMEO...

Hans… tengo la siguiente propuesta… Estarías interesado en ver si realizar un intercambio cultural y artístico entre Colombia-Alemania vía KunstlerHaus de Hamburgo... y los espacios Culturales de Medellín y/o Bogotá... Museos... Salas de Arte... entre otros... con grupos de artistas y afinidades... para el cual realizaríamos el trabajo curatorial conjunto, la búsqueda de presupuesto y patrocinio para que las exposiciones viajarán recíprocamente... ¿Qué te parece?... Habría interés entre las partes...?... Yo tengo apoyo institucional acá... me gustaría saber si tu y tus amistades estarían interesadas y sumamos fuerzas...!!!
