Patricio, thank you for your exuberant note. I'm happy to hear that you and your partner arrived home safely. Yes, it was especial evening to remember, and both Esther and I were so pleased that we were able to spend time with you both--truly a gift of the gods and goddesses of Patland. You will be receiving mail from me in a few weeks.

My dear Celestial Friend!  Thank you so much for the beautiful package that was waiting for me, when I returned from the hospital!!!  I so enjoyed it!  I will have to think of what three wishes to make with my ribbon!  One of the most important things, I could wish for, I already have, and that is to have wonderful, creative, caring friends like you!  Mail Art is rampant up here in the north!  The whales have been anxiously waiting for me to create another package for them to transport to you.  So much to do and so very little time!  Hugs from your frozen friend, Sherry

Patricio--A 'whiff' of mail art greeted me as I opened my post box today. I am sure there was the scent of Brazilian breezes, a hovering hummingbird, exotic flowers and maybe a hint of bat guano. Wonderful complexity of imagery greeted my eyes and the bats added the whimsical humor that I associate with your mail art. Thank you so much.

Hi Patricio, this is great ! I hope you're going to San Francisco by taking Highway 1, definitively my favorite! If you pause in Monterey bay, there are many whales right now and they are sometimes visible from the road. What's your program and you are in the area for how long? At the same time that the Dalai Lama, sure it's a celestial sign ;-)

Thank you for sending me such wonderful Mail Art. I posted it on my IUOMA blog. I really enjoyed seeing the video of your interview & almost, sort of, understood some of it. Maybe Brazilian Portuguese needs to be the next language that I learn! See you in the mail.
