Hello from California.....Love your work. Is your company from California back in CA? If so, I'll send a little something....from here that you need'nt entertain.
YOUR ART IS FREAKING AMAZING. :O Seriously. Do you do it digitally? I love "scrapbook"-ish art, and yours is so creative and feminine. In short, I'm in awe. I'm flattered you like mine and I would love to exchange mail art with you. Unfortunately, I'm currently in China and the postal stuff is quite inconvenient, but I'll move to Singapore in November and we can mail then! (:
Bonjour Nikoya! Thanks for the very nice envelope and collage card -- neat! I can't read what you wrote about your unique collection of...socks???
I collect all sorts of things -- and even wrote two (self-published) books about them -- but not socks. What is it that makes a sock unique? Unique to or from what?
I'll be mailing you something back today (but not a scock).
It's a great bunch of folks and I hope that you enjoy exchanging Mail Art with us. I'm your Mentor, and if I can help to ease you into IUOMA in any way, then please don't hesitate to ask and I'll try to explain what's going on and how IUOMA works.
If you haven't already done so, I suggest you take a look at the 'New to IOUMA' page (4th from the left at the top of the IUOMA home page) where you'll find a 10-point Introductory Guide that should give you an insight as to what is going on.
Would you like to exchange some Mail Art with me? If so, send me something to 1 Rue de la Vieille Fontaine, F-11130 Sigean, France, and I PROMISE to send you something back.
A friendly word of mentoring advice: you'll make things much easier for all of us if you provide your postal address directly rather than asking us to request it from you -- don't make life too difficult or bureaucratic for us poor artists!
And a question -- what is 'LWA'? I suspect it might not be immediatly obvious to those of us who are either not Americans and:or do not follow the latest communication trends.
Dear Nikoya: "...expand it to the Snail Mail World"? Yes, I come form the same country. Snail mail-art exchange is the name of my land. Take this text as a friendly welcome to the network, from a friendly mail artist living in a friendly country. Yes, I would like to be one of your partners on this very beginning with you at IUOMA. Your envelope should read as follows:
Patricio Duprat
Av. Paraná, 1489 apto. 1004
Curitiba-PR
825210-000
Brazil
I look forward to see your piece arriving on the mail. I will send mine to you after receiving yours. It’s my promise. Patricio
