Hi Susanne!

This weekend will hopefully be a quieter one, as there are lots of good people, like yourself, to whom I owe Mail-Art! Time to catch up!!!!

Boston! Good gracious! That is quite a trip you're making.

Are you a rootless vagabond, a modern gypsy-like globetrotter, or just a world traveler who enjoys staying abroad as much as possible?

We'll be glad to have you back on our shores again!

:)

That's really interesting.  I put the seal on my site because I'm Proud to be a Lutheran!

Longmont i like an overgrown small town, and Boulder is much more cosmopolitan. Boulder's also closer to the foothills, and much more scenic. I've always loved the beauty here. It really is breathtaking at times.

And Dushanbe Teahouse is a favorite haunt for my friends and I. BMoCA (contemporary Art Museum) is just next door, with Central Park right across the street. Divine.

But the best art venue (in our opinion) Boulder has is at the north end of the Main Library, just a short distance from the Teahouse. Their curator has done a fine job often enough to be proud. And the artists get all the proceeds. it's a beautiful thing. There is a long waiting list for that venue!

I should add here that we have active and inactive members, a few of whom are neither involved at this time nor available, but would like to remain connected. So it's like a little community. I like it that way. i hope we never grow out of our intimate beginnings, wherein we are not about growing in numbers, but prepared more to maintain our shape.

The Studio is in several places at once, a few outside Boulder, even outside Colorado.

The Studio's main office is with me, but we must venture northward into the wilds of Longmont for our group mailbox. It's always been that way. We like to get together wherever possible, and sometimes this in boulder, other times in ongmont, once in a while in neither of those places.

It's a "floating island," so to speak.

Please do not share that address with anybody. i'm currently alone on this IUOMA venture, and have many other duties/projects/etc., to care for. I am already stretched a bit thinly to cover for others whose time got cut into by time and distance and personal matters.

You might say  I steer the ship, but it is not mine alone to steer or preserve from rough water.

It's a job, in a way, but I enjoy it!

Hi Susanne,  Yes it arrived the other day and although I noted it's arrival, I wasn't able to scan it until today.  I love everything about it!  There is a photo and a note on my little blog about it.  Thank you!  Sue

So glad you liked everything. It really isn't finished, and isn't likely to be for some while. we may have another technical issue. Our scanner's operation, for example. It was not functioning well enough. Which means all our past work is to be sorted through and probably re-scanned, then readied for print via a Download function. Our printables haven't passed muster here for some while. Work, work, and still MORE blessed Work!

Aiiieeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!

I can't tell you how touched I was to receive your sweet message.  I've been so busy with work that I haven't had the chance to explore this site and meet what appears to be a great group of people.  I saw on your profile that you're in Stuttgart -- I was born in Heidelberg.  My mother is German and my dad is American.  Spent a lot of time back and forth as a child visiting my grandparents in Selb and all my aunts, uncles, cousins.  I have wonderful memories of their old world lifestyle that I've carried on in my own life, which is probably why I live in New York City.  Best wishes!
