Please, if you are going to post any of my work here or elsewhere, please do NOT include my studio group's address. We cannot handle large volume in the way of mail-art due to another project, that blog we keep. So please honor this request.
Hurrah for you! It did arrive! So glad we share an interest in another genre.
And artist books are my most favorite form of expression beyond the internet. Even more so than mail-art, although I think they work easily in tandem. ;)
The series your book is out of might get continued for a while. I'm aiming for a new look, though, maybe with a few new kinds of paper, etc. it's the semi transparent kinds I like to bind between the covers of my watercolor and acrylic washes. If there's room in your collection for one more, I'd like to try another color along with something fresh.
here is an invitation to pARTicipate in the SECREt eXCHANGE exhibitions...pass the invitation on to your friends, and let me know on my page if you will or won't be able to contribute; for details, go to IUoMA Events...or click on the link http://secretexchange.yolasite.com/
Though we've had company (emphasis on HAD, thankfully), that is all over, and now I can start to get caught up on all the things I haven't finished nor yet begun.
As memory serves me, I owe you some Mail-Art! Just too much to do lately. My schedule here has been awful.
Hurrah for art-making this coming weekend, when time and pleasure may mingle!
What did you think of Acton? We are right next door (a little more in the country - Acton is where I go to shop for just about everything). And Boston? Hope you were here during the nice weather -
Hello Susanne - Fluxus Affair initially was supposed to be the merging of Dada style Fluxist Art merging with a romantic theme. Fluxus and Dada aren't usually associated with romance at all - in fact they usually are somewhat stark in nature. So, I thought it would be fun to mix the two together to find out what would come out of it. Everybody seems to interpret this theme differently, which is okay with me. I just wanted to see the love with the weirdness! I might have explained this better after I have had my coffee this morning, but this shall have to do for now. Thinking about joining in on the Affair? - Please do! I'll send you something nice as well. Hope to see you in the mail!
Wanted to let you know I received your sweet card and it was much appreciated. I wanted to send you something back to thank you, but have been deluged with card orders that will keep me busy for the next couple weeks. So, an e-mail "thank-you" for now,
