Nadine!!! You've outdone yourself, girl! Oscar arrived and takes the cake. You're a genius and I love it. Every page. How did you know I chose to study him in a junior year tutorial? ESP. KS.  Thank you a hundred times.

Nadine! Thank you for the great postcard. I really like the bicycle. I get a little obsessed with techniques and am wondering about the texture of the bike, is that done with a special ink? You don't have to tell me, just keep it your little secret and let me try to wrap my mind around it until I pop. Jester Bummer looks so sad, I hope he cheers up; those tears look fatal. Cheers neighbor, from Anaheim to No. Hollywood. Oh, and a very belated Happy Birthday!

Hi Nadine,

Thanks for the friends invite! North Hollywood? We're practically neighbors.

Regarding the luddite comment, seriously, I have no fear of [digital] technology, just new  tools to help us along our merry way. It's more of an ode to Ned Ludd than anything else [you can read the amble at the bottom of my blog]. Onward.

Dear Nadine, so happy to get more ART MAIL from you !!!!! I have given up Art Mail !!! but would dearly like to continue getting art mail from you. I love your work and I hope you will still send me your wonderful ART !!!! I hope you are keeping well !!!

LOVE your latest mail. I am working full time half day now.

The crime in our area has escalated, to murder, rape and lots of burglaries and beatings. We live in an upmarket area, but the black people are just going to town on white people.

We all have alarm systems, razor wire around our properties, electric gates, but that is life, my children have left South Africa and live in the UK. I miss them terribly, but am so happy they are safer over there.

I hope you, and your family are all well !!

Love getting your Art Mail !!!!!!!

Take care.

Karin,

Hi Nadine,

I was told by a little bird in Montana that you and I have similar style. I'm new to the community and searching for kindred spirits. So, I thought I'd say hello.

All best!

Any kind...from sleeping faces to amazed, but maybe it's the inflation of happy faces that I'll reject them for now (except for happy faces mixed up with other expressions). And a happy face... :)

Hiya.  This is the first time that this little "box" appeared for me.  I still HATE COMPUTERS!!!  I don't even know how to put a cool little picture next to my name.

Give me snail mail any day (in fact, I mailed a letter to you this afternoon) in response to your dee-lightful letter.  I want more snail mail!  Is there anyone in the listening audience who wants to do silly "cooperative mail art books"???

That's ok. . . I thought maybe I was missing something.  BF
