Those mad people drove six hours from Durham to see us and then went to Peterborough. It's finally cooling, we don't even have air-con, so it was pretty tough, especially at night, getting into bed and it felt as though someone had just vacated it!! Yuck.

Since then I have been reorganizing my work room, in aid of changing the carpet tiles. A huge task but glad now it is over, almost. I am looking forward to start working again.

By the way, Val serves very nice wine and nibbles in the terrace of his amazing house.
