Franklin is a pookah whose growth was stunted by eating too many chocolate bunnies....(Normally they're 6 foot...) See movie Harvey for further clarification...

Diane -

the long answer is that the Chinese postal system is an overwhelming web of conflicting subtlety and stringency which seems to shift madly but yet precisely based upon various parameters that will never be fully revealed.

the short is: yes, i think a collaged postcard would arrive. the surest bet is to collage over a real, bona-fide postcard (this is how i have coaxed them to accept outgoing collage cards. 'in general').

waiting with wonderment.....!

Diane! good that it arrived. no sign of yours yet, but things in general seem quicker in going than in showing. i would be delighted to see the results when you 'do something' with the fragments, what-so-ever that may be, (perhaps to 'do something with').....!

Diane I just received your "Cataclysm" book (an event that brings great changes) Its funny because my brother and I were talking about the states wide panic over the zodiac's changing and how utterly silly the whole thing was when I opened your piece! Its causing quite the uproar, what are people going to do about their Scorpio tatoo when in fact they are now a Libra?

I'm in!  I'll bring the rubber stamps and a covered dish.  Jello salad?  Tuna noodle wiggle?

I bet the whole event was accompanied by loud shrieks and grumbles and four-letter words.  I've been there with technology.   But what a cool unexpected result!

Hi Diane,

Thanks for beings friends. As for the cat: He's called "Cotton Picker" and he is not the friendliest cat in the world - he is actually only friendly to me. No one else could ever hold this cat like this, but he is good with me. I have another big kitten that looks just like him, but is very friendly - "Kitten Picker".  So, Happy 2011 - and don't forget to have some fun!

A Fluxus Affair. Cheers, Test

Yes, sorry Diane, I had a feeling I was being a bit too obtuse.  OK, The Scottish Laird Elgin whilst visiting the Parthenon in Greece 2 centuries ago STOLE many of the marble statues he saw there and had them shipped back to Britain where they are housed in the British Museum and known as the Elgin marbles. Greece has been trying to get them back for decades but the Brits say they can  better look after them even though the Greeks had a special museum built to house them... (I think, but Katerina will know about that). So now you know why I asked if they play marbles in Elgin.  Of course Diane is a Greek name!

Usual problems with the ning network, your friendship request didn't make it through to my page so I will try from my end.

I wondered if you got the obscure joke about 'Elgin Marbles'... Katerina Nikolsou did ;~)

best greetings
