Jennifer...Yes, I'd like to have the 'zine with Swoon and other printmakers if you happen to have a spare copy. Many thanks!!!

Thanks for your 'favorite' vote for the Women Artists' Cow. I could not resist the challenge. I used to be a printmaker until an accident sidelined me. SWOON was an inspiration to me too--I still try to keep up with her.

Thanks for the Boring Postcard, Jennifer."Boring? Or simply odd?" you ask.

"Both", I think. And you might have come up with a new category: 'Boring-and-Odd Postcards".

I can understand why a Postcard of the Amsterdam Church might be of interest to someone, somewhere (and, after all, it was produced by an association of friends of the church), but why they would want to show the Church covered in scaffolding is another matter -- unless they were in the scaffolding business!

Why don't you join the Group?

Thanks again, Val

Dear Jennifer,
thank you for the elegant postcard made of wood. I will give it to the Museum of Moscow in the next few days. It will be a large Fund of postal art in perpetuity under the guarantee of the state. Not bad for art critics of the future.

With gratitude, Ilya

A good source for perforated paper is Bill Porter in CO. Check out the offerings of Olathe Poste at, or write him at The Olathe Poste, PO Box 707, Olathe, CO 81425-0707.

Thanks for the info someone wrote needs 45 cents and marked the stamp. So it must been the thickness. Thanks!

I remember my first posting but everything was different then (1997) and I really didn't have a clue what I was getting into.  Now I find, to my surprise it is essential!

Can I recommend you send something to Ryosuko Cohen for his Brain Cell Factor project? The address is 25208 Niihama Cho, Ashiya City Hyogo, 659 0031 Japan  (you might check that).
