I mainly take photos using the traditional method on black and white negatives (medium format, e.g. 6x9 or 6x6 cm), and the prints are made in the darkroom on photographic paper. For the purposes of the blog, there are also scans from negatives. I use old cameras, sometimes even 100 years old (eg Kodak Brownie).
But for the purposes of the blog, I also sometimes use electronic devices, without modifying the image made.
Hi Bradford, thanks for the info but I had his address on the map, I just thought he was there. I wanted to thank him directly for his two postcards. I hope to have one from you soon ^^ see you soon. Greetings, sandra
I don't know if I can comment on your comment so I'm commenting here...
Thanks for checking out my site. It's interesting because I was thinking about changing my views on watercolor. I've started doing more planned-out semi- traditional work with them lately and I might like it. Still not sure though. I'd strongly recommend playing with them at any rate. Just jump right in! Whether it's a pan of crayola watercolors or a single tube of Windsor and Newton, just do it!
Funny that you just left Austin so recently. I hope life is good in Deadwood. At least people know how to deal with winter up there...

Hi Bradford! I will do my best to bore you about typography and margins! Nice items you have (in a nice rustic setting)! I have to figure out this IUOMA interface, but I'm excited to be here and part of the community. I learned about it from my friend Mim.
this one took off a few days ago - but I'm afraid the postage 's too weak . . . I checked this morning at the post office, but the letter was gone already. . . we'll see then. Have a nice day !
Dear Bradford, thank you for your feedback on my poems.I could tell you the addresses on the Internet where all available English translations of my poems are located.
Thanks, will try that. I got a friend who is an IT geek whom I should have consulted. I tried to send this from Messages and it did not go when I hit send. Why is it only this site affected and no any other? Really weird.
Thanks for the comment on my Workspace photos, Bradford.
That coffee mug you commented on is my favorite and one that I was recently gifted from a friend who lived above the Propt Theater in Chicago. They recently left their original theater space and had a huge open house with lots of free stuff to take...I couldnt help but accept it as my friend placed it ontop of the armfull of theater stuff I went home with:)
21.10.20 Dare Sir Bradford,...looking forward to the second coming of the Yves Klein postcard ("Leap into the Void") -a monumental event in contemporary art.......& the Doonesbury Cartoon Postage Stamps (via Michael Thompson) .....I had not ever heard of that one but what an exciting, strange & exceptionable collectible that must be even among traditional & conservative stamp collectors!!!!! SinCelery, Richard Canard
I mailed my first piece in 1990, but perhaps some of the old envelopes that I've employed have earlier dates on them, but I can't contend that my work pre-dates 1990. My first was a stamp of Bug Bunny taken from a magazine with his ears extending beyond the borders of the cartoon perforations. My motivation came from an article about a Doonesbury cartoon that was drawn as postage stamps and folks cut those out, glued them to envelopes and sent them successfully through the mail.
