De Villo brings up several wonderful prospects for Samuel's visual work. To me, Project26's archaeological theme means that archaeology is, among other things, not only a science, but a humanity, the study and speculation of human-ness through what is visually at hand. Samuel presents the Y in a terrific cultural landscape of multiple techniques and ideas, making it a great study for artistic expression.
