It's hard for me to work on the Internet, take photos, it's much easier for me to make a collage or emboss on paper, send it in a mail envelope. It's easier for me to do art than to post photos on the Internet ...... This is incorrigible.
But I am always ready to exchange.

Dear friends, I appreciate your moral support!
I stopped documenting every little thing I get. My time and energy is quite limited at this time in my life, and I'd rather spend it making art than scanning and posting everything I receive. My goal right now is to send (eventually) some kind of mail to everyone who sends me mail, but as DVS noted, that's not even an expectation. I don't pressure myself to scan, share, or respond to mail art. And I don't expect others to do the same for me. I like it as a gift, freely given, with no strings attached. Anything else is definitely a recipe for burnout for me.
I agree with Katerina.
No mail artist is required or obligated to share mail they receive via blogs, pictures or any form of documentation on this site or elsewhere.
You should feel no pressure to document work received on the IUOMA-Ning platform. (In the same way you do not need to respond to every piece received.)
Some of us ENJOY sharing work received via blogs, scans, groups & that has evolved into a sort of tradition on this site. But no one expects you to participate unless you would like to.
Mail artists experience "burn out" because they become overwhelmed with the work they think they must do.
Remember, this is about fun & creativity. Do what you are comfortable doing.
Mail art does not require you to take photos and blog on the internet...there are no rules.
You make and send, that's mail art! Enjoy!
Always good to see you in the mail,
the internet is a choice for some..or not.
