Happy they arrived.  And yes I remember that story well.  I wonder how he is doing now that all the shows are closed?

But I see Mail Art continues.

Best Wishes

Dean

Your group, Mim, was during a cold February week when I had to cancel

and stay in bed, home in Greece 'cause I had the flu bug...

I visited Dean with Ana Kawajiri (and "Vizma") back in 2012...Good Times!

(making mail art, of course!)

Katerina, You were with us, right? With Scott and Andy, too.

Good to see Dean in the mail!

He might be making mail art and trying to keep sane like most of us who are in strict lockdown :-)

I, too, have bumped-into Mr.Giraud in the entrance way of Dean's place,

many years ago when I visited the Artist in Seine!

A funny story, at least to me, The guy on the top card-My husband and I had been to see the guy perform his show - How to be Parisian in an Hour. It was quite funny. Then one day, A bunch of us mail artists went to see Dean at his apt. We entered and when the outer door shut, we were in the dark, and didn't know where the switch was to turn the light on. All of a sudden two people entered the building and they turned the light on, making us jump and they were suprise to see this group of people huddle around trying to see Dean's buzzer. (did we not have cell phone lights?) Anyway, it was that guy. He lived in the building back then. We couldn't help but laugh and laugh. When we got up to Dean's we couldn't explain cause we were laughing so much. I don't know if this sounds funny, but believe me it was. And there's that guys FACE! hahaha. I'm laughing all over again. Thanks DEAN for the memories. I love Mail Art.
