Mail art by IUOMA members Moan Lisa (North Liberty, Iowa, USA) & Renata Solimini (Rome, Italy)

October 24, 2016 - Moan Lisa sent me these pieces, including this FAB collab with Renata Solimini, during the Karnival of Trash call, so I am more than pleased to include them in the greatest show on earth. Note the asemics!

Moan Lisa also sent this card that I believe is promoting the already well-publicized “code” poetry call:

Thank you, Richard. Moan Lisa has introduced Renata Solimini to the network, and she is a great addition. I am very pleased to share her work.

In the Facebook Trashpo group there is saying "Too smart for Trashpo." This is used to identify work that is too intellectual and/or comples for the egalitarian & literal aims of Trashpo. Moan Lisa's and Renata's work here would not be considered Trashpo in the eyes of a purist. BUT Moan qualifies as a figure of some importance in the history of Trashpo & DKult. So I think there is a place in "the greatest show on earth."

25.10.16 Dare De Villo S., ...the  Renata Solimini & Mona Lisa  Symbolic(?)  Asemic(?)  TrashPo(?) Collaboration postcard is strangely elegant. Thanx for sharing. Richard C.
