James Chester - "This is not art" - "Neither is this"
James Chester is a keen of the word. The conceptual art he practice involves the time. The passing time. The intermittence in the decodification of the message due to his fragmentation in different postal shipments, is a risks he dare to assume. The mail may be intercepted and lost and may never reach the receiver. The receiver may loose the memory or the interest in waiting the narrative. James Chester also deals with this media world of lies and manufactured truth that provokes our apathy. James Chester invite us for the awareness and remind us the importance of thinking.
