A stamp is not a stamp

This is an envelope I went to send today.

I glued all these cut-out pictures of stamps from a free monthly stamp booklet onto the envelope and asked the lady at Australia Post to weigh it for me. I got a bit worried when she gave me a strange long look, thinking that perhaps I'd broken the law and I'd get fined for forgery or arrested. I asked her if the envelope was…
