Vizma Bruns: Bum Roll, Bar code warnings, and Roll up face

What you see is what you get.  This had me laughing on the floor.  A drawing does say a thousand words ... or messages.  Arrives as is without an envelope.  The Postman now wants Vizma's telephone number!

OH yes, very clever to put two toilet paper rolls together.  Now that's thinking!  Or is it just dirty thoughts?…

Bifidus Jones: Childhood Farm

This amazing drawing arrived in A3 size, but here you only have a few details.  The part I enjoyed the most.  The Silo, the outhouse, the cornfield (now if they could only talk), the potato planter, and the chicken coop. (Where my rock band practised for endless hours.)  What wonderful memories this brought back.  Thank you Mr. Jones…

Valentine Mark Herman: Where were you in the 80's and the year of HM the Queen

Where were you in the 80's?  This question seems to be going around the website quite a bit.  First one must try to remember the 80's, and then try to come up with a return Mail Art reply to Val.  The pressure is on once again.

In the year of HM the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, things are not all cut up to be as one sees on the tele (TV).…

Katerina Nikoltsou: A Fork ee ping in touch, Mont Blanc, daze in Athens, and Katerina as a play bunny

So you say you have never seen a fork ee ping in touch before.  Well you are in for a delightful surprise.  It looks like a spoon only with bar codes on it.  Great went used with eating Greek yogart.

Some daze in Athens.  The Greek stone cold girls.…

Carina Granlund: Remember Me? Entitled: The forgotten Heros

Oh yes I remember you.  You were the first skiier that Carina sent me.  And now you are here again with all your friends.  One can never have too many skiiers on Mail Art.   For those of you who did not go the Finnishing school, the cartoon says: "inch by inch they penetrate the valley"  "just quietly…

Alicia Starr: SOCK or a near impression of one

This surely looks like the outline of the sock I sent Alicia awhile ago. Sock it to ya baby!  Thank you Alicia, I know you had a busy summer, and happy to see you back and sending.

Ana Kawajira: Sexy Boy

A wonderful painting  and collage from Ana entitled "Sexy Boy".   Ok so maybe I'm missing something here.  Then I realize that actually it's only a two star sexy boy.  Well I'm happy I spotted that in time!  Thank you Ana, and please feel free to tell me I am wrong.…

Sarah Churchill: Black & White Mail Art number 3 of 207/365 (but I just call it "Unstraight bar codes")

OH I like this one.  OK so I took me five times to scan it, and then the scanner started smoking.  Not to worry as I got the snap shot in the end.

Something very pleasing about Black & White circles, and this of course reminds me of bar codes.  Well the unstraight kind.  Actually most likely not very easy to do when you think about it.  It's a hit for me.  Thank you Sarah.…
