Mail Received - Alan Brignul

A delightful surprise arrived in the form of a Luftpost letter from Alan Brignul from the UK. It included four lovingly designed cards (or pages of a zine called "The rambling Urchin"), as I understand, created on an old fashioned block printing machine.

Also i received  a beautiful handwritten personal letter.…

Mail Received - Notes by David Stafford

I am a big fan of David's mail stories and he knows it! Lucky me, I have received quite a few. Here are two recent ones. Firstly, an interesting report on recent siren sightings. David, I am very glad you pointed out to me the danger of siren extinction, as I they are very dear to me! Save the Sirens!…

Mail Received - Diane Keys

A lovely collage composed of various bits of paper rescued from the street (I suppose) by Diane. Exquisite composition, delicate monochrome colour scheme juxtaposed with the frivolous message: Work schedule: Week of the stoner. Diane, you made me laugh! …

A huge envelope arrived from Grigori Antonin - what a surprise! It contained a large double sided collage.

I am only showing a part of the two collages, because it is to big to fit in my A4 scanner. Lots of fun and mysterious messages to read and…

Mail Received - Helen de Vaan

I have to apologize to Helen for not replying earlier. She was so very kind to send me not only a big bag of fun foam letters, including special packages with my name, but also a blobby postcard.

I love this image (is it a print or a stamp?) with visual instructions for handling mail on a separate piece of paper and on the envelope too.…

Mail Received - Nancy Bell Scott

I realize that blog behindedness has become something like a chronic condition with me, and decided to embrace it. So I am trying to catch up with some mail that I received this year, I have not posted everything I received last year! I need amnesty.

Here is a very special lovely abstract drawing by Nancy, queen of rust, on black cardstock. Thank you!…

Mail Received - Katarina N. aka Momcat

I was lucky to receive two letters from Katarina this year, in different colour palettes, blue and red. First  a moody blue abstract collage, which I love. The envelope was decorated with a bug blue wave, the ocean being a never ending source of inspiration for K., who is lucky enough to live in Greece! The second letter contained a happy "heart mail art" just in time for Valentine's Day, believe it or not the only Valentine card I received this year. Thank you very much! …
