I’m slowly changing from one-on-one swaps to just participating in add and passes exclusively.

This is another of those things that I will just have to work out for myself, but feel I should share with my friends. It’s always been a pleasure for me to express my appreciation for the mailart that arrives. I don’t get to see you in person, so it’s nice to be able to blog about details I especially like in your work. It’s part of my nature to say thank you.
Now I have a problem I never thought I would have. There is simply not the time to document each item while trying to find…Continue
In answer to Dave’s PSA where he mentions his gofundme page and how awkward it can be (albeit necessary) to seek public funding, I sent the man some funky Flux Bux. In what I can only surmise to be humble gratitude, he has sent me his postcard entitled “Awaiting Full Erasure.” I really like it, especially the color wash.
AND on the reverse, a scrap of faux wood shelf paper to add to my “collection.” I just don’t know how to thank him! I didn’t even HAVE a collection till now! I AM…Continue

Kristen, the envelope was beautiful, both horse and calligraphy! And I enjoyed your letter and appreciate your sharing the card. I will use it. I love how the light catches the colors on the tape—makes it very eye catching. I used to make cards, but haven’t for a long time. Everyone likes getting a handmade card!…Continue

what a graceful envelope and letter! The silver calligraphy with black paper is so elegant. And it was fun to read about Australian autumn just as we had an exceptionally warm day. Sure enough, we’re due for possible snow this weekend. The little snails are soft and silky. Definitely strokable.
I especially like the “All Creatures Great And Small” bookmark. It’s a lovely song and I am crazy about critters and books.
Ooh, there’s a Star Trek stamp on Carmen’s pretty turquoise printed envelope! I’ve got a husband who is going to like this as much as I do! She’s sent me three add and passes, too. One is folded into an airplane and I’m just hoping I can fold it back into the right shape after I have my way with it.…Continue

Richard is famous for his calligraphy, but he’s making some very interesting collages eon his envelopes lately. I am a grateful recipient! And inside the envelope, there are two add and passes, one full page and one smaller booklet. Also included, a note for me and another that I will pass along, requesting that he not be included in add and pass rounds.…Continue

Momkat sent some very coordinated mail art! A lovely orange and lemon postcard, an orange/lemon/green add and pass, and the envelope has stamps with a little orange, lemon, and lime coloring. Very refreshing!

Received big ol’ envelope from Bill. Ain’t it purty? Watercolored ink drawing, artistamp, and a spiffy sticker. Inside, a stash of watercolored artistamps made by Mr. Olathe himself and a page of perforated collages.…Continue

I received this very interesting postcard from David. The front has layers that I think may include tiny words here and there. I have looked and looked but still am not sure. The back is a stylized skull with the words, “LART EST MORT.”…Continue
