When inspiration is lacking and time is limited, I like to do a little pre-art. Right now I am creating a bit of a library of elements painted and drawn on tissue paper.

Driving with fat bugs splatting on the windscreen and roadkill on the side of the road inspired this sent travel postcard. "Nature Red" Wrapping paper (tissue) from a Quebec city florist supplied the bug and some other elements in this card and series that I did travelling by car from Toronto to Prince Edward Island last summer.…Continue

I like to create mail art as I travel from collected tourist brochures, maps, store bags and wrapping paper. Sometimes as I assemble the pieces, perceptions about the travel emerges.
