Why I am involved in Mail-Art:: As a practicing artist I have been documenting the Bush and Obama administrations visually in postcard form since 2001 with comments

I currently have a grant from the McKnight Foundation, administered by Forecast Public Art to mount a mail art project that comments on the closing and downsizing of Postal Offices in Minnesota. Artists interested in submitting mail art, correspondence, stamp designs or any other mailable art form commenting on this congressional folly or to celebrate or memorialize their PO are invited to participate. A web page is currently being designed to provide a Wiki to allow research of the Post Offices and their communities and to allow submission of the art work on line. Will inform of progress and when the site is up and running
