Maria - commentary as delightful as ever to illuminate the Halloween mail-art. Glad to hear "groovy" has made it into another language and "twister" has caught on in Russia. All very interesting. A "groovy" youth I know here has used these costumes for Halloween in recent years: Doc Ock from Spiderman, Spiderman (Green Gobblin is not considered very cool), and The Terminator. I hoope we can exchange cultural reports from time to time. Ada is a great idea! Regards

oh my! i dont celebrate Halloween, neither does my family =))) Halloween is celebrated by groovy youth who often goes to the parties at ngithclubs and is a part of this kind of society =) i am a bit different - i would call myself a part of intelligent society who goes to each others homes for having tea time together, to play twister and make some pie for dinner. Halloween is a strange non slavic non russian holiday to russians but free student age people get together on that night to just have fun and dress up like hell =)))

i actually been to one of these parties and my costume was a red devilina if i may say so =) i called myself Ada ("ad" is russian means hell so i found the name very suitable). I like costumes anyway. if i should choose costume for halloween i would go for some taily monster =)))) with terrific make-up.

Maria, that is great information. Do they dress up in costumes for Halloween in Russia? If so, what will your costume be this year?
