this is a great start. sorry you were pulled in2 the steve thing. however u r not a mailartist yet. after a few months at iuoma u will no longer need canvas. u will just paint on steves wall. then u will break steves wall up & mail it to people. this will seem perfectly normal 2 u. but u r going to have to explain 2 steve

No, I didn't make the couch and the keyboard. Now THAT would be impressive! As far as mailing it goes, I am still trying to get my page up and photos organized so its a painting I made, for Steve, now that Ive cleared that one up and I just wanted to put other examples of stuff I do. Up. On my page. Maybe I will make a series of these- Steve paintings. Ode to the Steve's, everywhere.

No man, case closed. Let the citizen be on her way. She has excellent potential, for sure.

Thanks for explaining. It's really good. Love the numbers. Not sure how you're going to mail it, though. You stepped into the Steve mystery. A performance artist named Steve disappeared about 20 years ago. He has reappeared recently with numbers imprinted on his head. I've been investigating this for months. Apparently it's not the same Steve. The couch and the keyboard confused me. I assume you didn't make those.

I made it. :) Im flattered you all like it. My friend Steve asked me to paint something for his wall. So I did. I think it reflects his personality. And he's goofy.

Sometimes the artist will try to trick you with a title that's at odds with the work. It adds the dimension of irony to work.

the title is 'painting for steve.'

this IS really nice. there's a mail-artist from the southern US named Steve - the guy with numbers imprinted on his forehead. i'm not sure if this is the same steve, though. there are a lot of steves in the world. several dozen at least. steve might also be the couch or the keyboard. you can't assume the painting is steve. nice painting, though. did i say that already?
