A slightly revised version of a mail art zine which was available for a very brief period in 2010, to members of the now defunct Post Post Post Club.

Across 16 staple-bound pages (printed on recycled paper), Open the Envelope introduces you to some of the mail art I have been priveleged to receive during my minor dabblings in the vast mail art network. It includes full colour pics of lots of inspirational postal artwork, links & resources for further mail art goodness, as well as a number of simple mail art diy craft projects for fellow dabblers to play with:

* How to doodle-stitch a postcard
* How to fold a simple envelope
* How to fold a Tangelope (traditional self-locking self-mailer)
* How to make diy stationery with a scanner (/photocopier) and some used postage stamps)
* How to make diy holiday postcards
* How to join the Handwoven Postcard Project
* How to make an ATC/postcard mail art a la Harriet Russell

Also included: an artistamp collector's page, and an envelope glued inside the back cover containing TangleClub membership card, upcycled Machin stamp badge & postmark-style return address labels

If you still have a copy of the zine available, I'd love to receive one: thank you!

If you don't, perhaps you might re-issue it, as I'm sure there would be interest in all of these things.
