Hey Linda, don't worry, and certainly don't apologise.
You are blessed to have a sense of humour (with a 'u', of course) -- and a a very good one, in my opinion -- as so many people don't.
I would like to think that I have a sense of humour too. I make mistakes too.
But they are usually pointed out to me by people who don't have a sense of humour that get upset.
It goes with the 'sense of humour territory'.
So "Sod 'em!"
hi Val. My sense of humor is a nuisance sometimes. My sarcasm is a fault. Especially in texting or other e-type messaging. Can't see my face or hear my voice, so I'm not giving enough social clues to my intent. My "gender-equality fight" was to be silly. So sorry to mislead. --Linda
I was using the phrase, Linda, in the context of the wording of the American Declaration of Independence. Now, if you want to pick a gender-equality fight with someone, I think it should be with your Founding Fathers, not me. Perhaps they included women in their phrase. Or perhaps they were just seeking Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness (but remember they couldn't achieve the latter via Mail art in those days)
Equally yours, Val
That all men are created equal? Of course they aren't. Not even women are created equal. --Linda
Linda -- the silos are elsewhere. AND of course you should accept this as the truth! We, in the Palace, currently have enough problems in the US witth Prince Andrew. And don't forget:
As for the upkeep, well, that's no problem, as my friend Queen Liz is the 'Royal' part of the Royal Mint, and she just prints out whatever money she needs (aka 'My Government'). But if you'd like to help, we always need another Downstairs Maid, or six.
Gina -- yes thanks, I'm well settled in, but I do have problems finding my way around.
I can't quite decide if we should just accept this as truth from Val. I mean, the upkeep! --Linda
It's such a bore moving, I do hope you've settled in nicely.
Not a silo? --Linda
